Geography

Scandiaca is a large, continent on the world of Epos-Goth. It includes the main, central island (also referred to as Scandiaca Island), as well as the hundreds of smaller islands surrounding it. These include large land masses such as Aruvyn Island, Fonnis Island, Kothrin Island, the Naerscova Islands, and Ildez Island.

The continent lies almost entirely in the temperate climate zone. Much of the island can see snowfall and below freezing temperatures for short periods of time, but winters are generally mild except at higher altitudes. The southern portion of the continent dips into the sub-tropical climate zone.

Geographic features

• At the center of Scandiaca Island lies Crown Lake, the largest inland body of water on the continent.
• The Titan Mountains make up the largest mountain range in Scandiaca. They run from just southeast of Crown Lake up to the northern edge of the continent.
• The Elder Weald is the largest forest in Scandiaca, and takes up a large portion of north-central Scandiaca Island.

Settlements

There are nine large city-states which make up the largest humanoid settlements in the realm. There are an assortment of other towns and villages which dot the landscape, but do not stray far from larger settlements, or well-traveled roads.
